Greetings everyone! The ministry has been renamed to “Priceless Soul Ministry International”! And that came from the Kenyan people of God! The 2023 Kenya Mission was a great success! We bless the Lord! I’ll give a brief summary here: 2023 Mission Journey Week One Graduation – 2020 UBTS Certificate Course Students Held eight morning Bible Conferences at six locations Launched a new church A new church joined us Held three evening crusades at Kamukuyuwa 2023 Mission Journey Week Two Held the closing Planning Committee Meeting Visited seven homes for fellowship, the Word and prayer Prayed for the sick Purchased Bibles and journals for people and distributed them Held a short service at the new church that joined us My sincere thanks and gratitude to the Planning Committee who planned the Mission! The first Bible Conference we held was not in the planning however, was a Godsend! I was supposed to land in Nairobi Saturday evening at 8:45pm. The plan was to travel to Matisi by auto that night and have service at our home church in Miendo on Sunday morning (which we were able to do later on in the week). However, the Lord had a different plan! I missed my flight in London due to bad weather in Dallas Texas. I was rebooked on a Kenya Airways flight to Nairobi which resulted in a 7 ½ hour layover and my check on luggage did not arrive. It was delayed for three days and had to be delivered to Webuye. However, God can turn a delay into a destiny! On the Kenya Airways plane I had the isle seat and a sister had the window seat. A 78 year old scientist who is a Hindu sat in the middle seat! He was “hemmed in” by two Christians! At one point, I put my head phones on and began to sing “O’ Lord Your Beautiful” very softly – not knowing if anyone could hear me or not. After a little while, I took them off and he asked me if I was a professional singer! I told him I wasn’t but I sing to worship Jesus! Well, the conversation livened up from there! He was getting the gospel from both sides and he loved the conversation! He did not repent and give his life to Christ at that time, but continue we pray he will! I arrived in Nairobi at JKIA at 5am Sun. morning. I had only gotten about 3 to 4 hours of sleep on one plane in 2 ½ days! Pastor Phillip (our Lead Pastor) has a sister that lives in Nairobi. So he and another Pastor and I went to her home in Nairobi for some fellowship with the family, Chai tea and some refreshments. During this time I was told Pastor Phillip had a friend in Nairobi who is also a Pastor. They’ve been wanting our ministry to come to the church and share for some time. After I let Phillip know I was going to arrive in Nairobi at 5am on Sunday, he made arrangements for us to do a Conference at his friends church! So, a little later in the morning we went to Abundant Life Celebration Centre Nairobi – Pastor Dennis Cheloti & Eric Masibo. I felt the Lord wanted me to preach on “The Revelation of Jesus Christ”! (primarily Chapter 2&3, Christ’s messages to the seven churches). These are the last words of Christ to the churches! What a glorious time! And all after only 3 to 4 hours of sleep in about 2 ½ days! God gives abundant grace and strength! Glory to the name of Jesus and the Word of God! There are testimonies from the open air crusades! One example: At the first open air crusade, there was a man who was a drunkard and had much pain in his body. He was not dressed well. We laid hands on him and prayed. The next day at the second and third crusades he was feeling better, free from alcohol and was clothed well! Praise the Lord again! All of the other conferences, home fellowship and home visitations were equally as glorious! To God be all the glory! We’ve also renamed our Bible School “Unmasking Bible Truths College International”! We had offered a certificate course. Now we are offering three courses; a Certificate Course, a Diploma Course and a Foundations, Leadership and Church Administration Course. The college is growing rapidly and Pastor Phillip is mobilizing people at different locations. We already have three locations established foe classes and he is going to be visiting about 4 more. Applications are still coming in. Courses should begin in August. The Saturday Zoom classes are currently going on well. Anyone can join the Zoom classes whether they are enrolled in a course or just want to tune in and learn God’s Word. We have some wonderful dialogs! Of coarse I teach, but we call it “open mic”. Anyone can interject, ask a question or express a concern. It is a glorious time! Classes are every Saturday at 11am CST and 7pm Kenyan time. If you would like to join, please click the link below! Welcome, Karibu! Jeff Weaver is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting. Topic: Unmasking Bible Truths College Zoom Meeting Time: This is a recurring meeting – every Saturday at 11am CST 7pm Kenyan time. Join Zoom Meeting Saturday UBTCI Zoom Class Link If you would like to join a class location in Kenya please reach out to me and I will direct. I want to give a sincere thank you to everyone whether you’ve provided continued prayer support, ministry planning, carrying out the ministry on the Kenyan grounds, or financial support. I’ll be going to Kenya every year going forward, which was the original plan from the start. Kenya Mission 2024 is already in planning! Please pray over the following items below. As you know we don’t do fundraisers. Although we do give the opportunity for anyone to give should the Lord place it on their heart too support any of these. 1) We are supporting two families in Kenya and more as the Lord leads. 2) Bible College success and expenses for materials and travel (We do not charge for our Bible College courses). 3) Financial support for our Families that desire to start their own businesses. 4) Many church leaders do not have cell phones that are capable of operating Zoom which we use for the Saturday Bible classes, Although they desire much to join, they can’t. (a cell phone in Kenya that is capable of Zoom and everything else needed ranges from about $95 to $115) We firmly believe that God always supplies everything needed for His work. I request you to first pray for this great work of God. You can also give through the PayPal link below or you can contact me for a different route. “The Lord bless you, and keep you; The Lord cause His face to shine on you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His face to you, And give you peace.’” Numbers 6:24-26 Thank you again for your consideration, prayers and support! To God be all the glory!
